Indian princesses

Princess Diya Kumari was born into the royal family of Jaipur. She is the daughter of Late Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh and Maharani Padmini Devi. She is a multi-faceted personality and made her strong presence felt whenever she has supported a cause. Coming from a family that the legendary Maharani Gayatri Devi was a part of, Princess Diya does not disappoint at all.

Princess Gayatri Kumari
From the Royal House of: Askot
Princess Gayatri Kumari, daughter of Rajwar Bhanuraj Singh Pal came into the limelight following her marriage to Shivraj Singh, the royal heir to the erstwhile throne of Jodhpur. Theirs was an extremely private but also the most talked about wedding of recent times which, deservedly, had an extremely high profile guest list. The young and demure princess still leads a very private life away from all the hoopla and, of course, the shutterbugs.

Princess Mrigesha Kumari Rajkot
From the Royal House of: Rajkot (Gujarat)
Princess Mrigesha Kumari is the daughter of Mandhata Singh and Kadambari Devi. Princess Mrigesha has completed her business management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. The Princess of Rajkot has always been known to be extremely low profile and simple. In fact, her belief in simple living is so staunch that she reportedly used to travel to her college by the local trains. She got married to Kunwar Dhananjai Singh of Khimsar early this year.

Princess Padmaja Kumari Mewar
From the Royal House of: Udaipur
The daughter of HRH Shriji Arving Singh Mewar, Princess Padmaja Kumari has an international relations degree from Tulane University, New Orleans and today, works on the business development of H.R.H. Group of Hotels. She got married last year to Kunwar Kush Singhji Parmar of Gujarat. She is someone who thinks that a royal status is never about an individual, which explains her efficiency and hard work.

Princess Priyadarshini Raje Scindia
From the Royal House of: Baroda
Though Priyadarshini Raje Scindia is more famous as Jyotiraditya Scindia's better half, she, too, is of royal descent. She hails from the Gaekwad royal family of Baroda. While her husband has been busy with the political brouhaha, the 'contemporary princess' has quietly made her mark with her gracefulness and immaculate sense of style. She was listed in Verve magazine's Best Dressed list in 2008 which, speaks a lot in itself.
